| Cost Allocation Plan The Sacramento Public Library Authority (SPL) seeks proposals from qualified consulting firms to complete a study of overhead and administrative costs for all Library departments and branches, in order to develop a cost allocation model that provides a basis for allocating shared, administrative and overhead costs to three revenue funds.

Question: Is the intent to have Library staff do the majority of the updates in the second and third years with some support from the consultants? Or is the intent to have the consultant perform the majority of the updates in the second and third years?
Answer: Consultants are expected to update the plan in the second and third years, with the assistance of Library staff. If there are no major structural changes, the Authority may have a plan format that will allow for an “in house” update after the third year. |
